Complete the information about yourself and the submission on form on the following page, then read the Submission Agreement. By sending your materials to us, you agree to the terms in the agreement. Basically, the agreement gives us permission to post your submission on our site, and you swear on a stack of fudge bibles that the work is truly your own. 2. Type or paste your submission as indicated on the page that follows the Agreement. Don't worry about margins or spacing or trying to make it fit on one page. 3. Save the file with your name as the file name (i.e. JoeSmith.doc or JaneDoe.txt) 4. Send the file in an email attachment to submissions@nycomedyradio.com 5. If you would like your photo to appear on the web page along with your submission, send it to submissions@nycomedyradio.com as well. If we already have your photo on file, you can skip this step. 6. Wait. If your submission is accepted, we will contact you as soon as possible. Due to the volume of submissions, we will only contact you if your submission has been accepted for publication. NYCR may electronically publish the Submission on the NYComedyRadio.com website. 2. NYCR does not provide compensation - financial or otherwise - for publication of the Submission. 3. For full length submissions, due authorship credit will be given in all instances that the text of the Submission is published. 4. If provided by the Author at the time of submission, NYCR will display at the end of the text of the Submission a brief biography (less than 50 words), a photograph of the Author, and, if applicable, a link to the Author's website. Photos must be submitted electronically and will be cropped to 100 x 100 pixels. 5. NYCR may edit and/or format the Submission in accordance with standard publishing and editorial guidelines. NYCR reserves the right to create, reject or modify the title of the Submission as it displayed on the site. 6. NYCR will make the Submission available to the general public for a period of no less than one year from the date of its first appearance on the website. If, after one year, the Author wishes the Submission removed from the site, the Author may request its removal via email. NYCR will remove the Submission within five business days of receipt of such a request. 7. This agreement shall constitute a NON-EXCLUSIVE license to publish the Submission as described above. Author retains all other rights not expressly granted herein, including the right to redistribute and republish the Submission in its original, unedited form. 8. NYCR acknowledges that the Submission is NOT a "work-for-hire" as defined by US and International copyright law. 9. The Author represents and warrants to NYCR that (i) Author is the sole owner of the Submission and has full authority to enter into this Agreement and grant the rights herein; (ii) the Submission does not, and if published will not, infringe upon any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property or other proprietary rights of any third party; (iii) the Submission contains no obscene, libelous, violative of any third party's right of privacy or publicity, or the right of any third party; (iv) all statements of fact in the Submission are true and based on diligent research; (v) all advice and instruction in the Submission is safe and not negligent or defective in any manner. 10. The Author shall indemnify, defend, and hold harmless NYCR, its subsidiaries and affiliates, from any and all claims, debts, demands, suits, actions, proceedings, and/or prosecutions based on allegations which, if true, would constitute a breach of any of the foregoing warranties and representations or any other obligation under this Agreement, and any and all liabilities, losses, expenses (including attorneys' fees and costs) and damages in consequence thereof. ---------------------------------------------------------------- SUBMISSION: (Type or paste your submission here:)
